IconsHerald / In Memoriam

A life's work, recorded for those who come after.

The In Memoriam archive holds permanent editorial profiles for those who have passed. Each one is commissioned by family, a trust, or a foundation — and sealed at publication.

For families, foundations, and institutions wishing to preserve a life's professional contribution.

Sealed at publication
The profile cannot be edited or amended after publication. It is a record of a life as it was understood at the time of commission — permanent and unchanging.
Commissioned by family
Every In Memoriam profile is initiated by someone close to the subject. We do not publish without a commission from a family member, executor, or authorised foundation.
Three years included
Hosting, preservation, and access are included for three years. Continuation thereafter is optional, at ₹3,000 + GST per year.

In Memoriam is reserved exclusively for those who are no longer with us. Living professionals are documented in The IconsHerald Register instead.

Commission a Profile

A commission begins with a conversation. There is no standard application form — write to legacies@iconsherald.com briefly, tell us a little about the person whose record you wish to preserve, and we will be in touch to discuss the process.

Editorial Memorial Archive
₹25,000 + GST
Professional editorial creation, a permanent address, a QR code, hosting, and maintenance — all included for three years.
After the initial three years, optional continuation is available for ₹3,000 + GST per year.

Editorial revisions during the archive period — a Minor Editorial Update (₹3,000 + GST) or a Major Editorial Revision (₹5,000 + GST) — are arranged separately, at the family's request.

Required Before a Commission Begins

Because an In Memoriam archive is sealed and permanent, IconsHerald requires, before any editorial work begins: a copy of the death certificate of the individual being commemorated; a government-issued photo identity document of the person commissioning the archive; and a brief written statement of that person's relationship or standing (family member, executor, or authorised foundation representative) to commission it. These documents are kept on file and are not displayed publicly.
