About IconsHerald

Recognition. Legacy.
Always Current.

Why IconsHerald Exists

Professional accomplishments often become fragmented.

Across social networks, news reports, publications, institutional websites, conference brochures, and newspaper archives — a lifetime of professional contribution is rarely gathered and kept current in one place.

IconsHerald exists to preserve meaningful professional achievement within one curated record that stays current.

Recognition Matters

Meaningful careers deserve recognition — not only from peers, but from future generations.

Doctors who have healed thousands. Lawyers who have argued for justice. Researchers who have advanced the frontiers of knowledge. Teachers whose students now lead institutions. Artists whose work has shaped culture. Entrepreneurs who have built enterprises that employed hundreds of families.

Their contributions are real, their impact lasting — yet their stories are scattered, their records incomplete. IconsHerald exists to ensure those contributions are recognised, documented, and remembered.

Legacy Matters

A career should remain accessible long after websites disappear.

Social profiles become inactive. Newspaper archives are lost. Institutional websites are redesigned and records erased. A professional record built over forty years can become inaccessible within a decade of retirement.

IconsHerald is designed as a long-term archive of professional achievement. Living profiles are actively maintained and kept current. In Memoriam — IconsHerald's separate division for posthumous archives commissioned by families and institutions — is sealed at publication and never taken down.

Editorial Philosophy

Every profile is composed by the editorial team, reviewed, and member approved.

IconsHerald profiles are not self-written. Every profile is composed by the IconsHerald editorial team, with the assistance of AI-based editorial tools, and approved by the member before publication. Nothing appears without the member's explicit confirmation.

Every application to IconsHerald is personally reviewed by our editorial team. Inclusion in the Register is intended for professionals with a demonstrable record of achievement, contribution, or distinction.

The standard is simple: does this career deserve to be documented and preserved? If the answer is yes, we want to do that work well.

Founder's Philosophy

"We believe accomplishment deserves documentation.

We believe recognition should not be reserved for celebrities alone.

We believe meaningful professional careers leave stories worth preserving.

IconsHerald was created to ensure those stories are not lost."

Frequently Asked Questions
Can profiles be viewed in other languages?
Modern browsers provide built-in translation capabilities allowing visitors to view profiles in their preferred language. All profiles are written and maintained in English. Future multilingual editorial support may be introduced.
Is acceptance into IconsHerald guaranteed?
No. Submitting an application is an application for editorial profile creation, not an instant enrolment. Every application is personally reviewed by the IconsHerald editorial team, who look for a demonstrable record of achievement, contribution, or distinction.
What happens after I submit an application?
The editorial team reviews your application and, if suitable, approves it. After approval, you complete the editorial questionnaire for your selected package and the upfront payment (50% + GST) is collected. The editorial team then prepares your biography and shares your complete profile for approval. Once you approve, the balance payment is collected and your profile is published. Nothing is published without your explicit approval.
What does an editorial profile cost?
Editorial Profile Creation is a one-time fee: Emerging at ₹6,000, Accomplished at ₹12,000, or Distinguished at ₹18,000 (all inclusive of GST). This single fee composes and publishes your profile. Separately, an Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification fee of ₹3,000 + GST per year preserves your published archive going forward, starting from your second year — there is no maintenance fee due alongside the initial creation fee. For Editorial Profile Creation, 50% of the fee plus applicable GST is payable upfront before editorial preparation begins, with the balance due on completion, after you approve your finished profile.
Why is there an annual fee if profile creation is one-time?
The editorial creation fee covers composing and publishing your profile once. The Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification fee of ₹3,000 + GST per year is a separate, ongoing programme, due from your second year onward, that covers secure hosting, continued profile availability, archive preservation, QR code continuity, secure backups, search engine indexing maintenance, platform infrastructure, security monitoring, and minor technical corrections. It sustains the institution that keeps your profile dignified and ensures it stays live and current for as long as membership is maintained — it does not produce a new biography.
How long does editorial preparation take?
Editorial preparation is typically completed within approximately 2–4 weeks of receipt of the upfront payment, depending on package, profile complexity, and your responsiveness to editorial requests.
Is the upfront payment refundable?
During IconsHerald's early period, if you cancel after paying the upfront advance (50% of the editorial creation fee + GST), a tiered customer-choice refund may apply: 75% of the upfront service fee (excluding GST) before a draft exists; 50% after a draft exists but before you approve; and none after your approval or publication. The GST component of any INR payment is non-refundable. Separately, where there is a verified fault on IconsHerald's part, you are entitled to a refund of 75% of the upfront service fee (excluding GST). The GST component of any payment is non-refundable. The remaining 25% of the service fee is retained as a non-refundable processing fee. Full details are available in our Refund & Cancellation policy.

Draft wording — subject to final tax and legal review. The early-period customer-choice schedule is a limited-time founding policy.
Can I update my profile after publication?
Yes. Publication is not the end of the relationship. A Minor Editorial Update (₹3,000 + GST) suits a new award, an appointment, a publication, or a similar addition. A Major Editorial Revision (₹5,000 + GST) suits a biography rewrite, significant career progression, or a package tier upgrade. Both are separate editorial services from Annual Profile Maintenance & Verification, scoped and quoted according to the work involved.
What is In Memoriam?
In Memoriam is a wholly separate editorial division of IconsHerald, reserved exclusively for permanent archives of those who are no longer with us. It is commissioned by families, foundations, or institutions, never by the individual themselves, and is entirely distinct from the living-professional Register. Visit In Memoriam →
How does In Memoriam pricing work?
An Editorial Memorial Archive is ₹25,000 + GST, and includes professional editorial creation, a permanent URL, a QR code, hosting, maintenance, and verification for three years. After three years, optional continuation is available for ₹3,000 + GST per year. Editorial revisions during the archive period — a Minor Editorial Update (₹3,000 + GST) or a Major Editorial Revision (₹5,000 + GST) — are arranged separately.
Which editorial package should I choose?
Emerging, Accomplished, and Distinguished reflect three depths of editorial work, not a hierarchy of status. Emerging suits a concise professional profile; Accomplished adds awards, publications, and media coverage; Distinguished is the most comprehensive of the three for a living career, including books, research, and supporting documents.
How does profile approval work?
Before publication, you review your complete profile — biography, timeline, awards, gallery, videos, documents, and overall layout — and must explicitly approve it. Your approval date, time, and the version approved are recorded. Nothing is published without this explicit confirmation.
Who owns the content of my profile?
You retain ownership of the factual information and photographs you supply. IconsHerald retains copyright in its editorial composition, layout, and presentation of your profile.
What is the contact request facility?
Your personal contact details are never displayed publicly without your consent. Visitors may securely initiate Contact Requests through the platform without your private contact information being exposed. Requests are forwarded to you, and you may independently reconnect through your own professional channels.
What is the difference between The IconsHerald Register and In Memoriam?
The IconsHerald Register contains editorial profiles of living professionals. In Memoriam is a wholly separate editorial division, reserved exclusively for permanent archives commissioned by families, foundations, and institutions to honour individuals no longer with us. In Memoriam archives are sealed at publication and never taken down.
Is IconsHerald available internationally?
Yes. IconsHerald is open to accomplished professionals anywhere in the world.
