Kiran Menon graduated from the College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum in 2019 with a BFA in Painting and has spent five years developing a practice centred on large-format oil and mixed media works exploring urban transformation in Kochi. His work has been shown in three group exhibitions and he was shortlisted for the Lalit Kala Akademi's Young Artists Award in 2023.

He completed an artist residency at the Cholamandal Artists' Village, Chennai in 2023 — an experience that shaped his current direction toward site-responsive installation. He holds a studio in Kochi's Fort area and participates actively in the city's contemporary art community.
